Leverage incentives to drive online sales
Same Day Services expanded to add Fresh Order Pick-Up (FOPU) for temp-state grocery items at Target. Knowing there is a high repeat incidence once items are purchased online, we wanted to capitalize and get on the list early as they formed their online purchase habits.
WHAT DID OMG DO?
Our team identified a key window with competitive in-store sales and offered a Services-Only Circle offer to incentivize our brand purchase online. This offer was amplified with digital banners to drive awareness of the new FOPU service for Target Guests to ensure they knew our brand was included in the new service.
Our brand exceeded our expectations and had an online sales week as high as an in-store promotion week. This has influenced an on-going offer strategy for the brand.
We started as a test at Target and OMG helped me to leverage a variety of Target and marketplace marketing tools to drive store count expansion and sustainable growth. — Vendor Partner
Driving sales with key brand partner
With a tight marketing budget, the challenge was to drive sales with new items for a key brand partner.
WHAT DID OMG DO?
First, we identified an opportunity segment for the new item with a Hispanic audience. Second, understanding how important online research is in this category, we put forth an amplification strategy that was targeted to this guest segment. Leveraging email, social media, and banner ads to this audience, we were able to drive sales efficiently.
We were able to achieve double the lifts in the business and achieved better than expected click throughs with the opportunity segment. These learnings have informed strategies across the portfolio of the business.
